Sligo is the place to be for the Northwest Pride from August 5 to 9, and you can download the full programme of events here.

The centrepiece parade lights up the streets of Sligo town on August 7, while the range of surrouding of events include multi-media exhibition 'Freedoms' & launch at Leitrim Sculpture Centre; 'Tea & Crumpets' at The Glasshouse in the company of Border Action Gays Scotland; drama from Over the Rainbow and the Guild of Outstanding Outcasts; music and DJs, dancing and delight at the Pride Party, all with low-cost village accommodation available.

You can stay over in comfort and enjoy the whole weekend in Northwest Pride's low-cost self-catering apartments, located beside the Clarion Hotel - a short walk from town and a very quick taxi ride.

Accommodation costs €25 per person per night. Double and single rooms are available, and to get the apartment of your choice book as soon as possible on +353 98 9890336 or by email to northwestpride@gmail.com. Unfortunately NW Pride can't take credit card payments.
