Furnish Lashes Out At Madonna
Elton John’s husband used Facebook to criticise Madonna for her Golden Globe win and acceptance speech.
During the Golden Globes on Sunday, when Madonna was accepting the award for Best Original Song, David Furnish wrote on his Facebook page describing Madge's acceptance speech as "embarrassing in its narcissism."
Madonna's song, Masterpiece from her film, WE was up for the Golden Globe against Elton John and Bernie Taupin's Hello, Hello from the film Gnomeo and Juliet.
Furnish continued, saying, "Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is."
