Katie Price Cancels Performance
Following reports that Katie Price is quitting music, the model has now released a statement saying she is cancelling her performance at G-A-Y this weekend.
The glamour girl released a statement saying she will no longer perform at
G-A-Y, leaving thousands of gay fans disappointed after.
Price was due to showcase her single Free to Love Again at the
popular London club this Saturday, however following her flop performance at
Mayhem nightclub and the harsh criticism of her pop ‘come-back’ she has decided
to ‘quit while she’s ahead’.
Her statement says: "It's with great regret and disappointment that I will
not perform at this Saturday's G-A-Y. Following recent events, it has been
decided that this performance should be pulled from my schedule”.
She added: “I've been really looking forward to performing at G-A-Y as it's
something I've always wanted to do, however after much consideration the last
thing I want to do is put on a show which I am not completely happy with, so
with a disappointed Jeremy Joseph, I would like to apologise to everyone who
was planning on coming to see me and I will see you all again very soon."
After Katie’s recent single only reached number 60 in the charts her pop at
erm ‘pop’ has been branded a failure.
She also took the wrong step when she admitted on GMTV that she simply loves to
mime – hardly standing herself in good stead amongst the music fraternity.
