Bollywood Star Targets Gay Fans
Rising Bollywood hottie, Imran Khan has come out in favour of gay rights in India.
Khan's latest movie, I Hate Luv Storys, was recently screened for a gay audience even though it has no content.
The movie's producers said it was because Khan is a gay icon.
Those in attendance at the screening report that the star appeared at the end of the movie, posed for pictures with his arms around his gay fans and not only showed his respect for the gay community, but stated publicly that he supports gay causes.
In print interviews Kahn has championed the gay cause in his home country. "I have always believed in gay rights," he has been quoted. "I do not think there are gay or straight love stories. I think all love stories are beautiful because 'love' is that kind of an emotion that makes one feel always special."
Last year, the Delhi High Court court decriminalised homosexual intercourse between consenting adults throughout India.
