I can't vote for Ireland
How unpatriotic.
I was working until a half an hour after the show started, so I missed the original performance of Et cetera. I bolted from the office, paid 15€ for a taxi only to discover to my delight on reaching home that the show was being RETRANSMITTED an hour later than programmed on Spanish TV.
I wouldn't miss anything. Until I started to think about when and how I would be able to vote. With Spanish TV broadcasting the show an hour later than everybody else, surely the telephone lines would be closed by then?
Cue frantic running to my PC to catch the all important numbers of Spanish TV's internet coverage of the show. Surprise Surprise. NO NUMBERS.
Sorry Sinead. Sorry Ireland. I couldn't vote. But the ripped leggings and general dodgy camera-work were a bit lame. Next year. Maybe. We. Will. Have. Something. Decent.
