RIP
Don't worry, nobody has died. RIP or Rock, Indie, Pop is Dublin's newest alternative night. Having started up back in June as an occasional night, it's about to have its third installment at the Button Factory in Temple Bar. This month wasn't supposed to happen but due to phenomenal demand, RIP is back this Friday 27th August.
Having popped along last month to check it out I was pleasantly surprised at what I found. A great crowd, good drinks promos, live music and some super tunes from DJs Seán John and Scarlet Nymph. Something different, new and interesting - what good nights out are made of.
This month, DJ Seán John returns and will be joined by DJ ebby in the main room. DJ Laura Lovejoy will be playing in the side bar. Dublin band 21 Demands will be providing the live music.
RIP, The Button Factory. Friday 27th August from 10pm. €10/€7 concession. Also this month, a donation will be made to Outhouse. So a night out and you're still doing some good!
