Start your weekend off with some juicy pop gossip
Before you blaze out of the office after the dreaded first week back ( no it wasn't just you that found it hard to sleep and yes all weight about 6 stone more after Christmas) why not catch up on some music tidbits to get your weekend off to a clued in and informative note.
(1) Original Sugababes Are Definitely Renuinting Apprarently: There has been speculation abound that the original line up of Keisha, Mutya and Siobhan would return for a shot at Sugababes glory and now it seems like all systems are go. MuuMuse has more info and today Popjustice posted this rather exciting report about the producers involved. It's an interesting move but as long as we get a song as brilliant as Overload we are fine with it.
(2) Azealia Banks Flogs Lots of Tickets: Azealia Banks, one of 2012's most promising stars, announced a Dublin show yesterday and it's already sold out. The gig, which takes places in Whelans Feb 6th flogged all of it's assigned tickets in 20 minutes.
Also if you are a fan of Azealia's lady-garden related smash 212 you can now buy various tops with the lyrics "I guess that **** geting eaten" splashed across them. A late "Sorry I missed Xmas" gift for your nan perhaps?
(3) Misha B Blows Up Dublin, or something: Misha B, her what was on the X Factor and was accussed of bullying did a gig for the gays at Dublin's The Dragon last night. The packed Phromo crowd seemed to love her and Misha herself had a ball if the numerous tweets were anything to go by. E.g.: "Lastnight Was OUTTA THIS FRIKKIN WORLD 1 of The Best Nights Of My Life!!! DUBLIN I LOVE Y'ALL Thank you xXx". Well done Misha B + The Gayz for having such a wild time.
(4) In the first Irish chart of 2012, Adele is back at the top of the album's chart AGAIN. This is the album's 30th week at number one in Ireland. Little Mix stay atop the singles chart for the 4th week running. More chart chat can be found at www.chart-track.co.uk
