Gok To Tell All

Gok Wan is to tell his story in his “painful” yet “inspiring” autobiography.

The presenter, most famous for his shows such as “How to look Good Naked” and “Gok Wan’s Fashion Fix” is set to finish the book in September of this year after striking a deal with publishing agency Ebury Press.

Gok has made no secret of his own struggle as an adolescent; talking regularly about how he was bullied for being overweight and gay.

"There's a lot to tell, some of it still painful, but I think it will be all worth it and prove a revealing, entertaining and above all inspirational read.”

He took charge of his own makeover at 20, when he lost 10 stone in less than a year.

Senior commissioning editor at Ebury said; "Gok is loved by women for making us feel fantastic about ourselves, and where he got that gift from is an inspirational story in itself. Told with his trademark warmth and wit, his story will be the must read for women this Christmas."
